Breather MembranesVapour permeable breather membrane, BS 4016 breather and Novia Building Wrap compliment other building products within our range Breather membranes are used to protect insulation from the external environment in timber or steel frame building constructions. They are positioned on the cold side of insulation under the external cladding (eg wood, render, brick etc), and allow moisture vapour to pass through them but resist the passage of liquid water.
